Winner of Quarterly Safety Initiative for 1st Quarter Named
Congratulations to Georgia Federal-State Inspection Service, Inc. of Albany, Georgia for being named the First Quarter Winner of the AgriTrust of Georgia Quarterly Safety Initiative. Georgia Federal-State Inspection Service was established in 1927, to provide efficient, accurate third party inspections of various fresh commodities. The need for the inspection services expanded over the years, so they expanded to meet these needs. GA FSIS currently has 180 full time employees and will typically hire 1000 seasonal employees.
Mr. T.E. Moye, Jr., President of GA FSIS, knows that safety is paramount and should be at the forefront of everyone’s mind. To help achieve this belief, GA FSIS distributes safety bulletins, conducts routine safety meetings, and provides monthly incentives to their employees. AgriTrust of Georgia has presented Georgia Federal-State Inspection Service with a check for $2,000.00. The company plans to add a little more to the prize and will reward those employees who consistently follow their safety practices.
