2019 4th Quarterly Safety Initiative Winner

Chester Timber, LLC. Winner of AgriTrust of Georgia Quarterly Safety Initiative for 4th Quarter

Bogart, Georgia – January 22, 2020 – No matter the industry you work in, workplace safety should be discussed. AgriTrust of Georgia believes so strongly in the value of talking about safety, we established the Quarterly Safety Initiative to incentivize our members discussing safety to their employees. Anytime a member conducts a safety talk, this could be a formal safety meeting or a talk on the tailgate, they can enter their company into a drawing. Every quarter an entry is selected as the winner. This winner will receive a $1,000.00 check. To make things more enticing, if the winner did not have a lost-time claim for that quarter, the amount doubles to $2,000.00. These winnings are given directly to the member and can be used for anything they want. This is just another way to show that safety does pay.

The 2019 Fourth Quarter Winner in the AgriTrust of Georgia Quarterly Safety Initiative is Chester Timber, LLC of Twin City, Georgia. Chester Timber was founded in 1995 by Mr. Chet Chester. Their primary focus is hauling wood products. Whether chips, logs, or other debris, Chester Timber keeps their employees on the road and safe. Their safety philosophy is simple and effective; Don’t rush and Always think. Having this mindset and their dedication to discussing safety with their employees has won them $2,000.00. While Chester Timber does not know exactly what they are going to use their winnings for, they do know they are going to reward those who deserve it; their employees.
